Dr. Amanda Husain, PT, DPT, PCS, is a board-certified pediatric physical therapist with over a decade of experience in both inpatient and outpatient pediatric hospital settings. She earned her B.S. in Exercise Physiology from Ohio University in 2011 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 2014. Throughout her career, she has worked with children and families at leading institutions including Boston Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Orange County, and MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach.
Passionate about helping children move, play, and grow, Dr. Husain believes that healthy movement habits start early. Inspired by her experiences as a mother, NICU parent, and lifelong athlete—having competed as a collegiate swimmer and Olympic trials qualifier—she strives to make information about movement and health accessible to parents, children, teens, and young adults alike.
